In the last twelve weeks, the number of applications uploaded to the "Books" category of the iTunes App Store has jumped from 551 to 2065 unique applications.
Those impressive numbers make "Books" the category with the most growth out of the whole Apple App Store, according to O'Reilly Radar. The post also breaks down e-book app pricing in the store, discovering that 56 percent of all e-book apps are sold for .99 cents or less.
