Tues at Second Life

The piazza where the announcement is for my avatar's reading of The Reincarnationist at SecondLife on  Tuesday the 25th at 5PM EST.  I hope you stop by.

And the stage where the reading wil be held. I think what is interesting about this experiment is that we are using the audio book and having an avatar of the actor reading from the first chapter. Then I'll answer some questions from the avatar audience.

There haven't been many of these author events yet done like that and it should be interesting to see how it works. Beats flying on  a plane and SecondLife has 9 million members, many of whom will see announcements about the reading.

So far it seems all the interesting and different promo and advertising we're doing for this book is working well and we just went back to press for a second printing after the first 2 1/2 weeks which bodes well for the series.  More reporting on numbers, what worked, what didn't after we've passed the 8 week mark in early November.

Is test marketing a book titled "The Reincarnationist" on Second Life an example of art imitating life, or life imitating art? Or is it just that I'm up too late?

Good luck. I just discovered your blog a few days ago and have found lots of good stuff, should my agent be able to sell my book. Thank you.

I plan on being there! Sounds like an interesting experience. I posted an announcement on my blog to spread the word.
